In Beck and the Great Berry Battle, it explained that chipmunks live underground by trees, where they store their food. They used to have problems with the Hummingbirds, because the hummingbirds were convinced that they were just hoarding food. This was one of the reasons that the Berry Battle had started. But since then everything has been cleared up and they just have peaceful relations now.
In Cheese's Great Adventure (Pixie Hollow's play), a chipmunk, by Cheese request, helped saving a baby Squirrel.
