Winda Quickwing is a legendary fairy hero. She fought to save Pixie Hollow from an army of ants, but died in the battle. A stained-glass window of her is located in the Pixie Dust Tree, though instead of ants the army appears to be wasps.[1]

Long ago, an army of ants attacked Pixie Hollow. Winda had led the fight to defeat the ants, they were victorious after a long battle. The ants left and never returned to Pixie Hollow, but Winda had perished in the battle. At that moment a constellation of her appeared in the sky.[2]
