2006 book firefly
In the Realm of the Never Fairies (2006) informational book, it told that fireflies are in charge of lighting up all of Pixie Hollow at night, being trained by Fira, that also teaches other light fairies "the best way to wrangle" fireflies and glowworm.
In Fira and the Full Moon (2006) book, all fireflies caught the firefly flu, a disease that causes their lights to go completely out, because of that they could not accompany the Mining-talent fairies on their monthly trip to the mine.
In Pixie Hollow (online game) (2008), fireflies could be used as the player pet, coming in the colors: green, yellow, orange, pink and purple. Fireflies were also used as motif for games like Firefly Light-Up were they needed help on getting their light.
In Iridessa's Firefly Fun, fireflies could produce music/tune and were shown in the colors: blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and red. In the story they helped Iridessa to keep her Light-talent skills bright by challenging her memory with music/tune and light.
In Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure (film) (2009), a group of fireflies can be seen flying at night in Neverland. One of them, Blaze, hits Tinker Bell cotton balloon and they continue together helping each other until the end of the movie.
In Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue (film) (2010), can be seen in the Mainland being greeted by Tinker Bell.
Pixie Dust Mill's firefly as a clock card machine
In The Pirate Fairy (film) (2014), a firefly can seen being used as a clock card machine for the Pixie Dust Mill.
In Pixie Dust Powers (2014) mini-game, fireflies blocked the entrance to a cave and left after Zarina used the light talent dust.
In Tinker Bell's Adventure (2014) in part 2, fireflies could not get the "Last Light of Day" to bring summer to the main land, so the Minister of Summer asked Iridessa's help (in "Light the Fireflies!" mini-game). A firefly card was also given to players.
