Elizabeth "Lizzy" Griffiths is a nine-year-old human child whom Tinker Bell met while staying on the Mainland. The daughter of Martin Griffiths, a scientist whose work left him little time for Lizzy, she had been fascinated with fairies since a very young age and drew many pictures of them.

Story[]

Movies[]

Lizzy built a "fairy house" in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, which she left in her garden for any fairies who might come by to use. She later found Tinker Bell trapped inside. After taking Tink to her room, her cat Mr. Twitches attempted to catch her as soon as Lizzy had let her out of the fairy house. She locked Tink in a metal birdcage to keep her safe from Mr. Twitches, and let her out again after putting him outside.

Lizzy showed off her drawings and her toys to Tink, who told her all about fairy life. Lizzy wrote about this in the Field Journal her father had given her.

When Martin discovered the existence of fairies and tried to take a captured Vidia to a London museum, she helped Tinker Bell and her friends rescue her by flying with pixie dust.

At the end, Lizzy and her father became closer as they enjoyed a picnic together whilst reading her journal.

Games[]

In Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, Lizzy can be seen in the front cover of the DS card product.

Trivia[]

  • A trailer for Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue portrayed Lizzie's character quite differently: Lizzie was shown trapping and carrying Tinker Bell around in a jar (much like the one Vidia was later captured in) and declaring that "every museum in the world will want one!"
  • She is mentioned by Tinker Bell to her twin sister Periwinkle in Secret of the Wings.
  • Lizzy's Mother is never seen or mentioned at any time in the film. She could possibly be either deceased or divorced from Martin, which was relatively uncommon in the Victorian Era. Furthermore, there isn't any mentions or appearances of possibly siblings, which clearly might indicate Lizzy is an only child.
  • Lizzy was more likely born in 1889[ Reference Needed. ], nine years prior to the events of the movie she debuted and the same year that Tinker Bell and her twin Periwinkle were born from a human baby's first laugh, carried by the winds to Never Land and their physical form magically formed when they stopped floating (Tink at the tree's upper-base and Peri in far Winter Woods).
