"Those butterflies are something else aren't they? I have so much respect for the butterfly talents. We were all happy when you volunteered!"
- Pluck to Prilla in Prilla and the Butterfly Lie

Pluck is a harvest-talent fairy. She looks very similar to Pell, both having darker brown hair and slitted brown eyes, but there is no known relationship between the two of them.

Pluck usually wears a sleeveless pale pink shirt with a green collar, a green belt, a flowy pale pink skirt that looks as if it were made out of spider silk, and chestnut brown boots.

In the books[]

In Lily's Pesky Plant, she and Pell got some sticky sap on them from Lily's plant. When they heard a hawk, they used the plant for cover not knowing since it was dark. They got very angry about it and even told Lily they wouldn't go to her garden to harvest anymore.

She appears in Prilla and the Butterfly Lie, asking Prilla if she has seen a gigantic bush full of blackberries that was earlier reported. Later Pluck comes back, having found the bush, with a basketful of blackberries, and offers some of the fruit to Prilla. During these visits she is very puzzled by Prilla's strange behavior, which is due to the pranks that the butterflies keep pulling on Prilla.

Pluck is written about briefly with Pell in Dulcie's Taste of Magic. When Dulcie visits the wheat mill, Pell and Pluck are putting stalks of wheat in a pile. The wheat makes them sneeze, and they exchange a leaf-kerchief with each other.

She and Pell were partners for the Fairy Treasure Hunt in Four Clues for Rani. They made the mistake of believing the clue the lost boy, Tootles had told them like many of the others.
